The Vision Line UP FEF-3 is a stunning tribute to Union Pacific's beloved 844 — the only steam locomotive in North America that has never been retired. The die-cast boiler is flawless, with hand-applied handrails and tiny detail castings that reward close inspection. Legacy sound recreates the UP's distinctive whistle and exhaust with remarkable fidelity. Speed control from creep to full throttle is perfectly linear. The Armour Yellow and gray paint is immaculate. This locomotive is the reason serious O gauge collectors exist. Utterly magnificent.
