Lionel Legacy SP Cab Forward 4-8-8-2 Review

There is nothing else in O gauge quite like the Southern Pacific Cab Forward, and Lionel has done it complete justice. The cab-ahead arrangement is accurately modeled in die-cast, and the Legacy sound deck includes the distinctive oil-burning firebox roar. Tracking through curves is exceptional given the long wheelbase, thanks to the articulated chassis. The smoke unit billows realistically through the forward stack. A truly unique locomotive that becomes an immediate conversation piece on any layout.
